Thank you to everyone who participated in our first annual "Art of Giving" contest
- which ended in November! Middle and High School students from all over the
country reflected on the importance of charitable giving through original art and
writing.

In the art category, students submitted original artwork that either captured "the
essence of giving and generosity" or illustrated what charitable giving means to them.
Students were free to work in any flat medium (painting, drawing, photography, collage,
computer design, etc.) for their entry. In the writing category, students submitted an
original essay about giving back to others.

In addition to several of our Board members, our wonderful panel of judges helped us select separate art and essay winners for both the 6th-8th grade and 9th-12th grade divisions. Special thanks to:

  • Sam Davidson, President and Co-Founder of www.CoolPeopleCare.org
  • Gigi Muirheid, English Teacher at Marist School
  • Kevin Graham, Creative Programs Manager at ADP and Freelance Artist
